This exciting coffee is produced by Gedeb Washing Station, together with around 500 small producers in Gedeo, in the woreda of Gedeb, Ethiopia. For us this coffee stands out as a really really great washed Ethiopian coffee. The flavor profile and the velvety mouthfeel made us roast this coffee originally for espresso but we decided to release a small run of it as filter too!
We found this coffee to be bright, juicy and most of all aromatic. Tasting really sweet with notes of black tea like bitters paired with peach and stone fruits with bright citric acidity and florals.
