This fun espresso is produced by Danny Moreno at the farm El Filo based in Santa Barbara, Honduras. We have had coffee from the Moreno family and the El Filo farm before. We have also come across some really tasty lots from Danny as far as before we even started roasting. This year we have bought three different lots from Danny. Washed, Honey and Natural. This lot is the Honey processed lot that we have roasted for espresso.

For us the coffees that we have bought and sampled from the producers from Santa Barbara have been outstanding in quality. This washed Pacas from Danny has all the key things we love about the flavour profile from Santa Barbara. Just really really well produced, clean, complex and tasty coffee. 

We found this coffee to be very clean and nice. Tasting really sweet, like brown sugar, with notes of nectarine and paired with smooth milk chocolate and bake spices. Great on it's own but very nice when paired with milk.
